The 2020 cohort is the first group to complete their Interactive Qualifying Projects (IQP) through the WPI Bucharest Project Center. Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, they completed their projects remotely from their homes. The students continued to work with our sponsors from Bucharest as planned. All students communicated with their adivsors and sponsors via email and through the video conferencing software Zoom. Although we weren't able to complete our projects in Romania, we look forward with the hope that we will visit in the future, and the excitement that we are pioneering a new way of completing the IQP requirement.
